Julien Oeuillet

Julien Oeuillet is a Kaohsiung-based English-language journalist covering power and culture in East Asia. He hosts and produces “Taiwan versus the World” for Radio Taiwan International, contributes to Monocle Radio and Taipei Times, and writes profiles and features for CommonWealth Magazine. His work combines geopolitics with human interest, focusing on Kaohsiung, southern Taiwan, Japan and South Korea. Previously, he worked for SBS and RTBF, reported from the Democratic Republic of Congo and produced television and documentary work for TaiwanPlus.
