Mike Calcagno

Mike Calcagno is the CEO and co-founder of SoopahGenius, Inc., a technology startup based in Taipei and Seattle. A California native and graduate of Stanford University, he worked for Microsoft in Seattle for 17 years, and then as an artist and filmmaker in Japan and Korea, before moving to Taiwan in 2018 to serve as a strategic adviser for Taiwan AI Labs. His passions include documentary photography, swing dancing, the winter sport of curling, and he keeps a hopeful eye on politics in his home country.
