另一項福特《Opinion Matters》調查，則訪問了法國、英國、西班牙、德國、義大利的 2,000 名 7-12 歲兒童，結果顯示：在法國，高達四分之三的孩子表示父母開車時會說髒話。其他國家諸如德國、西班牙、英國等，開車辱罵的現象都比法國低得多，在傳統印象中身為拉丁熱血民族的義大利，更是比法國低了兩倍。看來，要是想把這個結果歸因於「熱血與熱情」的基因，也不合適。
