Ben Weinstein

Ben Weinstein is an American writer and teacher from Albany, New York. Last year he graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in history. He first came to Taiwan in 2015 as an exchange student, and returned in 2020 to teach English at a Taiwanese public school. He is particularly interested in politics, foreign languages, and global culture. His writing often focuses on American politics and policy, comparing American institutions to Taiwanese ones. When he is not teaching or writing, he enjoys exploring Taiwan’s mountain trails and traveling.
